Job Title Game Artist/Illustrator
About Role Our Game Artists develop 2D characters, environments and other graphics for our mobile games. They are also responsible for concept development and often create storyboards to present game ideas.

In addition to creating art for the game itself, you may also contribute to logo design, marketing materials and new artwork for already existing games. You must be proficient at multi-tasking, as you will be required to work on multiple projects at once.

CORE SKILLS Concept Art – using traditional materials (e.g. pen and paper) to sketch ideas of the game, characters, objects, vehicles, furniture, clothing, etc. You will also suggest level designs, colour schemes, and the mood and feel of the game.

2D/Texture Art – create and apply textures to characters, environments and game items, such as the surfaces of walls and floors of buildings.


Have a portfolio demonstrating range of work and originality of style

Be able to draw from life

Be able to convey facial expressions and emotions

Have a flair for colour, composition, perspective and texturing

Have skills in comic book art and/or storyboarding

Be able to work as part of a team and independently

Be imaginative and creative

Pay close attention to detail and have strong powers of observation

Have good communication skills.
