About Hugo Obi

Hugo Obi is a visionary leader and entrepreneur driving innovation in the African gaming industry. As founder and CEO of Maliyo Games, he has spearheaded the development of culturally rich mobile games, including the collaboration with Disney on Iwájú: Rising Chef.

He spearheaded the Africa Games Industry Report and partnered with KPMG on a joint industry report. Through GameUp Africa, established with Google, he has also helped empower aspiring game developers across the continent.
